Kindergarden Moshpit |
"Kindergarden Moshpit is a Riot Grrrl zine. Previously the editor had released a feminist/Riot Grrrl zine called Pretty on the Inside, co-edited with a friend. The two editors drifted apart and many of Moshpit's editor's ideas had changed since then, so she decided to start her own zine. She writes, "I'm still not completely sure what the purpose of Kindergarden Moshpit will be, I'm not aiming for anything specific. Maybe its a search to 'find myself' or some shit like that. Who knows". Quoted from ZineWiki.

Kimagure No Dowa Hon |
"Kimagure No Dowa Hon is the first collaborative zine between Carolee Gilligan Wheeler and Jennie Hinchcliff, 'Kimagure No Dowa Hon' is loosely translated as “a storybook of whimsy” in Japanese. It can be said that this zine uniquely captures the feeling of ryoshu: the loneliness one feels when traveling or on a journey." Quoted from ZineWiki.

Krazy Katlady Cookbook 1: A Vegan Cookbook (of food for humans) |
"Heather and Tiffany created this cookbook as a benefit for local no-kill animal shelters in Portland, OR. 100% of their profits for this zine are donated, and since as of right now they've got an amazingly good (free) copy hook-up, the cats and dogs of this town are breathing a little easier. It's food for humans, not cats though. When they lived together and you visited their house you'd be greeted by top notch biscuits among other delicacies. This cookbook also includes yummy pancakes, cheese sauce, jambalaya, lasagna, broccoli and rice casserole, macaroni salad, hush puppies, gumbo, stuffed peppers, and lots more delicious goodies. Top notch "comfort food" that they prepare constantly." Zine by Heather & Tiffany. Quoted and available to order from feed your head books.

smallest and most little-known part of my zine-doings, Kikizine

Action Girl comics actually appeared. Kikizine first came out in

“I became interested in anarchy because of my own interest
in the self-actualization process. In the process of pushing the
envelope of my human potentials, I realized that a huge and intimidating
force stood in my way – life as we know it, a.k.a. capitalism
and hierarchy.” This zine is put out by W.A.C. Volume 6, Issue#
1 closely examines anarchy on various levels. It also provides articles
on the achievements and activities that W.A.C is currently involved
